Mid-Year Assembly Student Scholarships

The Connecticut Association of Nurse Anesthetists (CTANA) offers a scholarship program to support Connecticut nurse anesthesia students attending the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA) Mid-Year Assembly (MYA). The CTANA will award a $500 scholarship to one Connecticut nurse anesthesia student from each nurse anesthesia program. 

 

Applicant criteria:

• Must be an entry-to-practice nurse anesthesia student in a Connecticut nurse anesthesia program

 

Dates and deadlines:

• Applications are due by 5 PM on February 28, 2023

• AANA MYA is in Washington DC on April 29 – May 3, 2023

• Scholarship recipients must submit a 500-word essay and photo describing their experience by May 5, 2023

• Scholarships will be awarded by May 15, 2023

 

Eligible applicants will be included in a random drawing for the scholarship. A scholarship recipient will be chosen from each Connecticut nurse anesthesia program.
