Open Meeting
February 1 – 6:30-7pm

CTANA will be holding an open meeting on Tuesday, February 1 from 6:30 – 7:00 p.m. to review the proposed bylaw provisions. CTANA Attorney, Kyle Pavlic will be available to answer any questions CTANA members have as it relates to the bylaw provisions. 
 

Any CTANA member who wishes to vote on the bylaws at the March 5 Business Meeting is encouraged to review the bylaws in advance of the February 1 Open Meeting and come prepared with questions. Additionally, an email will be sent to all members with a link to read the bylaws.

 


 

Business Meeting
March 5 – 8am-12pm

Mark your calendars for CTANA’s Business Meeting, Saturday, March 5, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. 


Hear from CTANA President, Renee Rathbun as she provides an overview of the past year and discusses plans for the future of CTANA. The meeting will include student poster presentations and a vote on the proposed bylaw provisions. Please note: proxy voting will not be available – everyone must attend the Business Meeting to cast their vote. 

*Any CTANA member who attends the March Business Meeting and the joint NYSANA/CTANA Spring Meeting April 30 - May 1 will receive a $50 refund.


CTANA Spring Meeting


The Connecticut Association of Nurse Anesthetists (CTANA) will host a virtual spring educational meeting on March 5. Details about the event are coming soon.

Connecticut Association of Nurse Anesthetist is requesting abstracts for general poster presentation of scholarly work. The session will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the Spring 2022 CTANA education meeting. To be eligible, applicants must submit:
 

  • Abstract (250-word max) and references

  • IRB status (approved, exempt, N/A)

  • Recommendation from supervising faculty/program director

  • Affiliation

Note: If the project is not complete, please indicate this and provide a general summary of preliminary findings.

Completed posters must be submitted by February 21, 2022.
